One morning I woke up to Menopause; the joys and the struggles included.
I’m not saying Menopause has been easy; I suppose I’ve lived day-to-day and on the fence in how I truly feel about it. Just when you think you have it mastered – POOF! There is something else to deal with.
I find in staying positive during this change in my life, has helped. I’ve learned to take time to myself to have that cry, or to have that moment of brain fog. I think the hardest thing, is the fact I can spit my thoughts out better with writing than speaking at times. Brain fog has been a challenge, but with a sense of humor and Good Vibes, my family and I have learned to have fun with it rather than make it a serious issue.
Like I say, it is day-to-day, without putting pressure on myself. I know this too will pass, as everything is temporary, but if I can help others who find themselves in this point in their life, then it will be better for everyone.
If you find yourself in this time of your life; all you have to do is smile. Find something funny to focus on, enjoy the fact you are gaining more and more experience and wisdom as you go though this time in your life, and harness those tears as they come. Tears help to release the frustration; please do not feel bad about needing to cry. Tears are liberating!
