The Good Vibes Only Roadshow – Smile At The Challenges

Over the past year, and since my family and I have started to manage a very large apartment building, I have learned a lot about different personalities.

We have 130 families living under one roof!  Funny when you think about it that way!

There isn’t one person on the planet who hasn’t had their fair share of challenges; moving into the apartment was one for me.  It wasn’t a negative challenge, it was more of an adjustment.

We have happy, sad, crabby, gossips, angry, miserable, fun, creative, and loving people all living here.  I could see where it would be easy to let it all get to me; to be honest, I have been through my tests, but at the end of the day, they all have their own stories as to why they are the way they are – so I SMILE!

I have had the most miserable and angry people talk to me, just because that is their way of communicating, but I have continued to smile and slowly they are now smiling back.  They have taken comfort in my smile and that is important!  Giving comfort to someone who is needing it the most, with just a smile.

We have many people living here who have seen and lived through War, no running water, no plumbing, no electricity and living life without any of the luxuries we have today.  They literally have seen it all, so if the odd day they are crabby, sad, depressed, or just not happy, they deserve to see an even bigger smile.

I made it my Mission, to smile at everyone, no matter their approach to me.  After all, I don’t know their story, I don’t know what has happened in their lives, and I am not going to assume anything about them, instead I’m just going to smile.

If they don’t smile now – they will 😊😊
