Patience is now something we need the most, along with understanding, acceptance, and love. Gratitude is also a component to handling “lack” of patience; remember, if you remind yourself of what you are grateful for, then you will find your patience will not be so hard to deal with.
Finding the little things to be grateful for, will help your mind escape away from fear, will keep you focused on positive things in your life, and will keep you connected to your family, both near and far.
The unknown is there, it is evident, we are all wondering when things will get back to normal; remind yourself, you are not alone. This is the first time, in a long time, everyone on this planet is in the same boat! We are all worried about the same things; health, finances, family, friends, the essential workers, the healthcare workers, the brave men and women who are fighting this battle for us. We are all thinking of the same things from day to day; will this ever end?
Our patience are narrowing on the unknown, but, we are all together as one and knowing that should give you some comfort.
If you find you are running low on patience, put yourself on a “timeout” and remind yourself, everything is temporary in life, we are all in this together, we are all supporting each other, and we are all going to listen to the warnings and do what we can to help those who are fighting for us, by staying at home.
Find the gratitude again! This will ease your patience! Hang in there!
