Over the weekend, I turned 29 “yet” again! My husband and our daughter, surprised me by inviting my sister-in-law and my niece out to our camp for a BBQ! I was so happy to see them, as it had been a while!
One thing about our family, we love to sit around the kitchen table and talk! My sister-in-law has done extremely well on her weight loss journey, and in doing so, she found “dance” to be the best exercise for her! I agreed! If there is one form of exercise to do, I love to dance.
You can use absolutely, every muscle, you can move in any direction you want to, and doing all of this with a smile on your face!
When thinking about exercise, you think of lifting weights, using the treadmill, and other pieces of equipment, but when you think about it, although they are very good for you, you never seem to see anyone smiling while they are doing this. Keep in mind, I’m not degrading this form of exercise, as I do believe in it, but I also feel it is important to incorporate a form of exercise that brings a smile to your face.
When talking to my sister-in-law, she started to smile from ear to ear when she spoke about how she dances for exercise! Feel free to dance in your kitchen, or anywhere around the house! Try it out! You will feel free!

Happy Birthday to my husband and best-friend, John a.k.a Big Daddy!
I feel very fortunate to have John in my life; we have had 13 years of great experiences! I’ve learned so much from every one of them! Our experiences together, have been ones of growth in all areas of our lives.
The beauty of our relationship, first and foremost, is we were friends for a year before we even decided to date. This allowed our communication with each other to be completely open. In blending a family together, our bond as friends allowed this process to be one with a concrete foundation. We have appreciated each others opinions, beliefs, and ideas with openness and respect. For this I am truly grateful 💖
Two years ago, John’s Mom passed away on his birthday; this has been something very hard to adjust too, but at the same time, we have acknowledged her passing on his birthday as “her way” of saying, “I’m still here with you 💖”
Since both John and I have had to say “good-bye” to both our parents, it never really is “good-bye”; I’d like to think that our parents, in their passing, are just 3 feet above us and over to the left a bit watching over us – their spirits are still here comforting us along our journey!
On his birthday, the best gift I can think of giving him, is the constant reminder “your Mom picked you!” That to me, is the best gift! Even though she isn’t physically with us, in her passing she has reminded us she is in spirit! I feel that is the best gift to receive from the passing of a loved one!
I am so grateful for his love! I am grateful for the father he is and the friend he is too many! I am grateful for his constant friendship, his encouragement, and his drive for our future plans as a family! Today is a great day!
With all the love in my heart, I wish my husband the best day ever! With Good Vibes Only – Happy Birthday Big Daddy!💖
