The Good Vibes Only Roadshow – We All Need Excitement In Our Lives

More now than ever, we need to find some excitement in our lives!  I have a bit of a plan😉😉

I will start by letting you know, I have no problem diving into childlike thinking at times;  remembering my youth!  Not so much who I was at a young age, but instead all the hopes and dreams I had as a child.  If you want to take a moment to smile, then please start thinking of all those dreams you had as a child.

As I start thinking back to my mind as a child and who I wanted to be, where I wanted to live, what I wanted to do when I “grew up”, and how I was going to do all of this, I also start thinking about all the kids I went to elementary school with and then it all comes back; I remember their dreams too ❤ you may even want to start reaching out to those friends you had and striking up a new friendship.

How exciting it was as a child, to have such big hopes and dreams!  The thrill and happiness it brought to my face, at just the thought of actually achieving those dreams.

It then dawned on me, why can’t I achieve those dreams now?  Oh My Gosh!!  I was feeling excited at just the thought!  I couldn’t wait to get started!

In that one thought, I created “added” excitement in my life!  I was like a scientist rubbing her hands together over her experiment at the possibility she could have come up with the latest cure!

The passion I had as a young girl for my dreams, was like no other; the excitement I felt as a child for my dreams, came back to me.

I really gave myself something more to look forward too!

If you are finding yourself bored with being at home, having already watched all of Netflix, and not sure what to do next, then I would recommend you sit down, grab a pen and paper and write down all your childhood dreams!  You will start to laugh, you may even start to cry, but at the end of the day, you will have found the excitement was back in your heart as you had as a little child.

I believe that is a gift you can give yourself!  You gave yourself the gift of excitement in your life and it didn’t cost you anything and you didn’t have to leave your home to find it.  Harness the dreams of a child, start researching them online, and you just never know, maybe you will be able to accomplish one of them!  Where there is a will there is always a way!

Facebook asks me every morning, “What’s on my mind?”
Then it hit me like a Mack Truck!
AT THE MOMENT, WE ARE ALL MAKING HISTORY!
The World has finally all come together as ONE and are working as a Team with nothing but care and compassion in their Hearts
The enemy in this case is invisible and we NEED each other to fight it off!  In my eyes, this is World War III and we are not fighting each other.
We truly are ONE!
The thought that we are doing this brought tears to my eyes.  The thought of what it took to bring us all together, made me cry even more, but the reality of it is that we were not fighting each other to get us to this point.
It is possible to live in Peace, to actually love each other enough (as we are doing now) to be kind to everyone, and it is possible to live a life where we do not cause pain to another human being or animal!
We are living the proof right now, that we can continue doing so!  Life is precious!

There is so much truth to the fact that we are what we eat; eating healthy is so very important in our lives.

I learned several years ago (16 years to be exact), when I was caring for my Mom who had Cancer, the importance of antioxidants.  At the time, I didn’t know much about the benefits of antioxidants, until I met with my Mom’s Oncologist.  To be honest, when he opened up and shared his knowledge of “you are what you eat”, I found myself in shock, as I was so used to hearing more about the drugs they were trying to feed into my Mom.  For an Oncologist to look outside of the box and share with me something so very important was a true Gift.

He took me aside and told me, “you need to increase your Mom’s antioxidant intake; this will help her immune system.”  We all know, that when going through chemotherapy, not only is it trying to kill the Cancer, but it tends to damage our other healthy cells.  It is up to us, to do what we can from a nutrient perspective to help our bodies heal as well.

He shed so much light on the topic for me; it wasn’t about changing tradition, or disgracing the fact that my parents both ate meat, it was simply trying to give me options to HELP my Mom live longer.

I forgot to mention, during this conversation, my Mom was considered, “terminally” ill and was not given much time to live.  Now I’m not going to say, “why didn’t someone teach me this sooner”, as that is not what this post is about.  This is about sharing how food, can actually help the process of living a better quality of life.

Once I quickly found more information, quickly put together an intense antioxidant diet for her, I brought her home from the hospital knowing the Doctors had only given her 48 hours to live.

To bring some positive into this story, my Mom actually lived an entire month after I started feeding her a high antioxidant diet.  I was able to have more time with her.

After learning more and more over the years, I have found so many different types of food and supplements that help.  We need this more than ever today!

The Good Vibes Only Roadshow – A Lesson Learned!

I learned a very valuable lesson not to long ago; never sway from your passions!  My passions in life are based on living a peaceful life, while helping others achieve a sense of peace as well.  Whether a sense of peace is found in my blog and social media posts, from the books I have written or from the gift I have as a Reiki Master, my passion in life is to help others find an avenue to bring inspiration and positive choices into their lives.

We all go through tests in our lives; some are there to help us along the right path, but then there are tests to make sure we do not sway from our passionate path in life.

I also believe in sharing my truths, as I believe if I can help just one person a day, then I’m doing what I have set out to do in my life.

Over the years, I’ve been tested in many areas of my life.  One thing I’ve learned is that these tests, if you let them move in and take up residence in your brain, are only there to create havoc and chaos, which then creates a wrath of anxiety.  Every single time, one of these tests show up, I will admit, they check into my brain for a brief moment, but then after reflecting on what is important in my life (my passions), it leaves with a sense of release.  It almost feels as though my Crown Chakra opens up and lets all the havoc and chaos particles float on up and out of my body.

I know that sounds deep, but it is the only way I can explain it.  There were tests I’ve gone through where I’ve kept everything to myself.  Not the best thing for me to do, but like I say, “I am human”.  I’ve felt the signs of negativity these tests have brought to me, so I have learned to cry through them.  A great release for me at times!  I’ve said it before, and I will say it again, “there is nothing wrong with crying”.

This was an awakening for me!  I needed to stay true to my passions within me!  Although, these tests were job opportunities which I was approached with, they just truly weren’t for me.  I had considered them, as I thought it would be an opportunity to again help, but something was telling me it just wasn’t the right thing for me to do.  Intuition at its finest I suppose; I was listening to my gut feeling and staying true to my passions.

My passions pull at my heart!  They are mine!  They fuel me every single day!  They bring me joy!  They bring me peace!

I only hope you all can do the same!  Stay true to who you are and what brings you a sense of passion in your lives!

The Good Vibes Only Roadshow – I Am Strong!

Being strong is not only a physical attribute, but a mental one as well!  It is truly amazing, just how much strength is available to us in our minds and in our soul, when we really need it.  I will admit, sometimes we need a “push” in order to find it, but regardless, we will indeed find our inner strength and what a gift that wake up is!

It is very easy to fall into depression when things are not going as planned, and it is very easy to stay there.  We all go through many challenges in our lives, but in order to stay strong, we need to take each challenge, one at a time.  Strength will constantly be there for us; just need to tap into the “signs” of strength when they present themselves.

Strength shows up in many forms.

Reading books, reading articles, and reading blogs.  Listening to music, the news, or a certain TV show.  Spending time with a friend, a family member, or  watching an interaction between complete strangers.  Paying attention to our body, our mind, and our soul and nourishing what we need.  Meditation, food, exercise, yoga, etc., will bring you the strength your healthy mindset will need in order to gain more strength.

Strength = Wisdom

It is okay to take a much needed “me” day, or put yourself in a “gentle timeout”; we all need time to ourselves to cry through our frustrations and the feeling of being overwhelmed.  It is okay to cry through it, as this is also a way to love yourself through your challenges as well.  Crying is the first step to healing, and healing helps to build strength.

Strength = Healing

Take time to look at yourself in the mirror and say, “it is okay what you are experiencing, you are human”, show yourself the comfort, understanding, and love that you would so freely give others.  It is time to give it to yourself.

Strength = Love

Stay strong, stay available to yourself, stay in love with who you are, and understand you are only human.
